Hello! I am Helen Bodde, a Guatemalan-American illustrator based out of Virginia. I began illustrating digitally in 2012 and have not stopped since. In 2018 I attended the Governor's School of Visual and Performing Arts program at Radford University,
being one of 38 attendees selected from a pool of thousands. I received my BFA in Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts in the spring of 2023. During my time there, I
interned with VCU's University Relations Social Media Department, where I created illustrations and graphics for all VCU social media outlets. I earned two "Bronze Bridge" awards from the Richmond Ad Club during this internship for my illustrations.
My interests include concept art, horror illustration, portraiture, and social media illustrations; with my preferred medium being Photoshop or Procreate. Feel free to reach out at my links below!
